The BLOX Racing 52mm EGT gauge accurately measures the vehicle's exhaust gas temperature.  EGT gauges are an ideal tool for measuring the engine's air-fuel ratio.  In essense, if temperatures become too high or very excessive, it may be an indication that the engine is running lean and that engine failure may occur.
